John Irving, CEO and Managing Partner of Fairfax County Criminal Attorneys, brings extensive legal and investigative experience to his practice. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University in 1997 before serving as a fraud investigator for the City of New York, where he handled complex welfare and housing fraud cases. He later joined the Prince William County Police Department, earning multiple commendations for his outstanding performance.
In 2005, John obtained his Juris Doctor and transitioned into law, leveraging his background in law enforcement and fraud investigation to build a strong legal career. His legal acumen, combined with his deep understanding of investigative procedures, makes him a trusted advocate. His strategic approach and litigation skills have earned recognition from the Prince William County Circuit Court, Juvenile Court, Community Services Board, and Court Appointed Special Advocates.
As a litigator and negotiator, John is known for his dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. Under his leadership, Fairfax County Criminal Attorneys provides various legal services, serving individuals, families, and business owners.
Beyond his legal practice, John is committed to community service. He has held leadership roles in his church, coached youth sports, and sponsored local athletic teams and school programs. I got charged with a possession charge and couldn’t afford a lawyer at the time, so the court appointed Fernando to my case. Whenever you choose to get a court appointed lawyer you’re always taking a risk. Because you’re one of who knows how many clients the court has given him with the same problems.
