With a strong background in litigation, she represents clients in contested adoption cases, divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and spousal support matters. Even in uncontested adoptions, her deep understanding of statutory and procedural requirements helps ensure a smooth legal process for her clients.
Originally from Amherst, Virginia, Rachel graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech, where she majored in Political Science and Criminology. She went to Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she again graduated magna cum laude and earned membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif. While at Cardozo, she served on the Cardozo Law Review and was part of Cardozo’s Trial Team, sharpening her litigation and advocacy skills.
Before joining Fairfax County Criminal Attorneys, Rachel gained valuable courtroom experience as the Chief Law Clerk for the Honorable Kimberly A. Irving at the Prince William County Circuit Court. This role gave her firsthand insight into judicial decision-making, further strengthening her ability to advocate for clients.
