Miranda Colt, paralegal at Fairfax County Criminal Attorneys. She supports the attorneys with a wide range of tasks, including drafting legal documents, scheduling meetings, preparing trial binders, and guiding clients through the process of compiling and answering discovery responses.

Before joining the firm, Miranda lived in the Shenandoah Valley area, where she graduated from high school in 2016 with summa cum laude honors. She entered the workforce immediately, holding several jobs at once, including positions at a golf club, Subway, and Walmart. In February 2021, she joined ILF in an entry-level legal assistant role. By March 2022, she had completed the Paralegal Studies Certificate course at James Madison University and was promoted to paralegal. Since then, she has continued building her skills through hands-on work, CLEs, paralegal conferences, and occasional assistance in court.

Outside of work, Miranda enjoys casual bird-watching and has a particular interest in moths, often photographing and identifying them. She also spends her free time reading fiction and manga or watching anime.
