Communication Specialist
Daria Hodies is the Communications Specialist at The Irving Law Firm, where she manages administrative operations, marketing initiatives, and social media content creation. She welcomes and supports clients, cultivates the firm’s digital presence with care, and assists staff across all departments. In her role, Daria is dedicated to fostering clear, thoughtful, and effective communication between the firm and the broader community.
A Northern Virginia native, Daria graduated from Temple University in 2023 with a degree in Communication Studies, concentrating in Media Environments. She is an avid writer and storyteller whose professional experience includes social media management, administrative roles with Virginia-based companies, and journalism work for the criminal and legal news outlet D.C. Witness. In 2025, she self-published her poetry collection, Seven Years of Bad Luck, a compilation of essays, poems, and personal letters written over many years.
Outside of work, Daria enjoys going to the movies, seeing her favorite bands in concert, and exploring local coffee shops. She also cares for her two dogs, Scout and Raine, and often spends time by the ocean, where she finds inspiration for her writing.
